About Us
Meet Jimmie & Christina Limon, Owners & Founders of Ranchito San Miguel
We’re the husband-and-wife team behind Ranchito San Miguel — a place built on faith, family, and a lifelong love for meaningful celebrations. In 2024, we brought our dream to life by designing and building this venue from the ground up. But the vision started long before that — from decorating weddings and private events for friends and family, hosting family gatherings and curated trips in Texas and Mexico, to planning our own destination wedding in Negril, Jamaica back in 2004. Creating joyful, intentional moments has always been a part of who we are.
Inspired by San Miguel de Allende
Our hearts were forever changed in 2016 during our first visit to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. The rustic facades, hidden courtyards, bougainvillea-lined streets, and cobblestone roads instantly drew us in.
A UNESCO World Heritage City known as El Corazón de México (“The Heart of Mexico”), San Miguel inspired us with its art, architecture, outdoor venues, relaxed culture, and surrounding wineries. It quickly became our second home.
We’ve returned many times since with family and friends, each trip deepening our connection to its beauty, culture, and spirit.
Bringing That Magic to Texas
Ranchito San Miguel is our way of bringing a piece of San Miguel to the Rio Grande Valley.
We thoughtfully designed every detail — from hand-carved doors and reclaimed wood beams to original sculptures and textures sourced directly from Mexico. Every element was chosen with care to create a space where people feel connected, inspired, and celebrated.
